  • Brass Screw Confederacy High Command -  Cotton Building (607 Water St) (3-9pm) Free - Tickets, schedule updates, questions and plain old help are available.
  • Oddly Small's Photo Booth  Cotton Building (607 Water St ) (3-6:30pm) $$ - Memorialize the opening day.
  • Victorian Tea -  Commander's Beach House (440 Hudson St ) (3pm) - Settle in for tea served in an historic home, including assorted tea sandwiches, scones and jam, and a variety of delectable desserts. Reservations Required.
  • Marine Science Center -  Marine Science Center (Harbor Defense Way) (1-2:30pm) $$ - Oceanography on the Dock is a featured event at Fort Worden. Come along and make friends with two crew members of our Confederacy. Also look for their exploratorium at the Steampunk Hootenanny Saturday evening.
  • Rise of Aester Lecture -  Pope Marine Building (603 Water St) 3:30-4:30 GA -  Join the lecture dubbed RoA 101 to immerse you into the finer details of the otherness.
  • Bazaar of the Bizarre -  American Legion Hall (209 Monroe St) (4-7pm) Free - opens its doors with vendors, makers, bodgers and artists fair. Entrance on Water St.
  • Rise of Aester Game Demo -  Pope Marine Building (603 Water St) (4:30-7pm) GA - Step into a Steampunk world where the skies are filled with a mysterious substance called Ęster. The first 30 minutes is for check-in and character assignment. At 3:30pm today join the lecture dubbed RoA 101 to immerse you into the finer details of the otherness.
  • Steampunk Den of Iniquities -  Cotton Building (607 Water St) (5-11pm) GA - is next to our High Command. Beginning at 5pm belly up to the bar for beverages salacious or salubrious in a room festooned with absinth aromas, and good vibes. Live music offered by the Blue Crows begins at 7pm . 21 and over.
  • Photo From The Hoosegow -  Jefferson County Historical Society & Museum (504 Water St ) (7-9:30pm) Free. Visit the jail deep underground where shady characters fretted away the hours waiting for the sound of the jailer's key. Take your picture and upload it to our site to participate in the Brass Screw photo contest.
  • Speakeasy at Cellar Door  Cellar Door (940 Water St) (10pm-1am) Free - If the Den of Iniquities hasn't sapped your strength, you are invited to Port Townsend's newest oldest speakeasy, and enjoy some fantastic tunes and superior craft cocktails. Entrance on Tyler St. 21 and over.

This year features two locations crammed full with a top flight list panelists.
  • Piratical Adventures The Pope Marine Park beach (100 Tyler St)  (11am-1pm) Free - Team up with Captain James "Black-dog" Galahad of the Cloud-Runner and his First Mate Amelia Madieros to assist in the search for the airship parts lost from B.S.C.S. Cloud-Runner that was downed in our fair city.
  • Duelatorium Pope Marine Park (601 Water St) ( noon-1pm) $$ - Your piratical aventures continue up town. Shooting duels, games of chance and skill for all ages. This is a steampunk pirate affair to delight and challenge. Bring nerf fire arms or rent from our ever-expanding arsenal to test your prowess.
  • Inaugural Tactical Croquet Tourney Memorial Athletic Field (550 Washington St)  (noon-2pm) $$ - Croquet meets miniature golf meets Alice in Wonderland. Starts with a tea off (miniature tea-cups provided) then play 8-posts - in honor of the Octopi - of the strangest game of croquet on record. Maneuver your ball through a mixed-up world of obstacles and challenges.
  • Airship Apprentice Tournament  Whistle Stop Toys (1005 Water St) - Get out there today and collect your private arsenal of cards! Sunday at 11am the tournament commences.

  • Oddly Small's Photo Booth Cotton Building  (607 Water St) (1-5pm) $$ - Doesn't day 2's gear deserves another pose for the camera?
  • Sound & Fury Morris and Sword Gather and celebrate the vanquished pirates with traditional English Morris dancing. Such festivities were performed for Queen Victoria to insure her continued stability and Port Townsend could use a bit of that blessing too. (1:00pm) Meet at the Pope Marine Building. Free.
  • Live Octopi and Marine Wonders Marine Science Center (Harbor Defense Way) (2pm) $$ - An opportunity for a close encounter with cephalopods at the Marine Science Center located along at Fort Worden. The public is invited to a close encounter and feed the beasty members of our Confederacy. Also look for their exploratorium at the Steampunk Hootenanny Saturday evening.

  • PT Shorts program in collaboration with Key City Public Theatre the Brass Screw Confederacy  Pope Marine Building (603 Water St) (7:30pm) Free - is proud to present J.R. Boyett reading from his latest Steampunk novel.
  • Steampunk Hootenanny Building 202: The Evacuated Barracks (Eisenhower Avenue) (7pm-1am) HT - The Brass Screw Confederacy joyfully convenes for its formal conclave at the for a feast of festivities. We've seconded an Evacuated Barracks at Fort Worden for this year's tour de force. It's a new direction, different, big and it's in Fort Worden State Park.

Sunday, June 8th
